To Study dotcom team, thank you so much for this idea. I have to say this is the worst… I have to say this is the worst experience of an online class if you have questions about an assignment they will replay to read the syllabus, which I have already done. I emailed them with a question regarding billing and I received a response to call billing but also in the email it stated to expect a phone call back from the billing department in 72 hours because they are busy. Save yourself time and headache DO NOT go through this study.com please find another online school. They make learning easy because of how well the lessons are taught.

I'm so confused by how many people misunderstand that's it's a RISK free trial, not a free trial and then leave negative feedback. If within 30 days you are not satisfied, we will refund your money". How could they refund your money if you weren't going to be charged. It's really straight forward and sad that they get a bad rap because people can't read. Message received, "We're sorry, this computer has been flagged for suspicious activity. If you are a member, we ask that you confirm your identity by entering in your email." Terrible! Now, I have to do it every time I go through one of the lessons! No quibble refund on trial period issued almost immediately! Hi, so 3 days after I paid for the 'free trial' with 30 day money back guarantee, I decided it really wasn't what I personally had been looking for as a teacher.

Just before requesting the refund, I had a quick look at some reviews, including on here and I thought, oh no, this is going to be a nightmare. BUT - I sent off my email (you do need to send an email - that is part of the requirements- its in the FAQs page- on a SATURDAY - and literally, within one hour I received a 'you have been issued a refund' email. Now, although I haven't yet received that refund in my account, that is pretty standard and I would expect to be waiting up to 10 days as I am in Spain, it looks pretty clear that, that has happened. That the material wasn't for me as a teacher of a very specific subject, well that's by the by. It might be right for someone else, but I can honestly say I'm really impressed with the customer service. I am still waiting for my money back 2… I am still waiting for my money back 2 months later. They promise to offer free trial but once you put in your credit card information, they will charge immediately. Then I tried to login in after two hours, I didn't exist. They requested my name, phone number, email, and card details. Advertised one month free then charged $59 straight away. Ended up being $89 as it didn't state that it was USD. Reading about the history of origami, and it says I must sign up to continue reading. I start the process, it looks slightly fishy, and then just when I've given them half my personal details, I get a request for my credit card details. They gave me no information about the fact that I had to pay during the sign up process. I have been trying to cancel my account for a week. Now I'm going to report them and not allow the charge to go through from my credit card. What a scam and shame on them for taking peoples money during a global recession! As a student this is utterly ridiculous, the videos are low quality and say the same things you could find at much better sources. Also if you repeatedly sign up you get a different membership each time and there’s no way to change them, the prices range from 39.99-199.99. And then there’s the scam, they say to ask and they’ll refund but I’ve sent two emails clearly stating a need for a refund (one in response to their unhelpful email telling me to just ask for a refund and I’ll receive one). If you are experiencing any technical issues with video playback, we encourage you to reach out to our Support team anytime ([email protected]) for assistance with this. Also, we offer various subscription plans for our customers. Feel free to learn more about our subscription plans here: https://study.com/academy/plans.html. Makes it appear you are getting a FREE study guide, but then they charge your credit card. With all of the companies who are generously helping teachers right now by either drastically discounting their products or giving honestly free trials, why hasn't study.com stepped up to do the same? They have been milking $70 bucks a month from teachers for long enough. They could give a little back during this unprecedented time when so many other companies are.

We try to ensure information about our 30-day money back guarantee is transparent when signing up for a subscription. I have written to customer service 3 times as they are charging me for 4 student accounts rather than two students accounts. The content is ok but their customer service is horrendous. LuckyStar Wrote: They have not responded to that yet, but I have a feeling they won't and won't refund me. So, I wanted to give a heads-up to all who were considering using that "30 day risk-free money back guarantee" trial. https://study.com/pages/terms_of_use.html The main thing to read is section 13. You most likely should & will get a response, but I don't think a refund is in place. natshar Wrote: Yes I thought it was pretty well known that the 30 day free trial did not include any proctored exams.

LuckyStar Wrote: As a matter of fact, when I explained my point of view and why I decided that I didn't like their system, study.com actually sided with me and just issued me a refund (I literally received a confirmation a few minutes ago). So, if I was so wrong about questioning this policy, they wouldn't have issued the refund (I was polite and didn't push them in any way, just explained the whole situation and my point of view).
