Apply the soaked paper towels directly to the stained areas. Finally, scrub with baking soda and vinegar paste (discussed above), then rinse clean. Rust stains can be treated with a paste of borax powder and lemon juice. Use the cut half of a lemon to rub each stain until a paste forms.
Avoid using steel wool or extremely abrasive brushes and scouring powders, as these products will scratch the surface. Certain combinations of chemicals—chlorine bleach and ammonia, for example—can create toxic fumes or burn your skin. When using chemicals, always make sure the area is well-ventilated. Hydrogen peroxide and bleach will discolor fabrics, so be sure to wear old clothes when using any products containing these chemicals. Wipe and rinse away cleaning products to make sure that they do not leave any residue in the tub. Ultimately, keeping your bathtub clean on an ongoing basis requires diligence and discipline. Each time you bathe, or as often as possible, try to rinse the tub surface with clean, warm water, before wiping off the excess moisture with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, or sponge. Doing so goes a long way to prevent soap scum, mildew, and grime, which makes more involved and more effortful cleaning unnecessary. Our mission is to help you be Healthy, N aturally .
Our mission is to help you be Healthy, N aturally . During this time of uncertainty, we at the Herb Shop are pleased to be one of the many businesses that are considered essential to society. We care about our customers and your families and want to help you keep them healthy, safe and strong. Due to high demand, there are items that may be low or out of stock. We are receiving orders daily and restocking our shelves with essential items such as herbs, herbal blends, essential oils, vitamin and mineral supplements, homeopathic remedies, and bath and body products. Our vendors are doing the very best they can to get needed items to us as quickly as they can. Manufacturers are working tirelessly to produce popular and needed items. The extra demand on shipping companies has caused some slow-down on the availability of products as well. We are constantly searching for high-quality and affordable products from reputable companies to help meet the demand that COVID-19 has caused. We always believe in keeping our store clean, and we are taking extra steps and precautions of cleaning counters, displays, doors, etc. In compliance with the CDC and OSHA workplace guidelines, we are monitoring the health of each employee and maintaining these measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 : o We require employees to stay home if they are sick. We require employees to self-monitor for signs or symptoms, and we also screen each worker at the beginning of each shift for symptoms of a fever over 100.4 degrees, a cough, or shortness of breath. o We require employees to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands using soap and running water and/or frequently and thoroughly use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. o We require using respiratory etiquette including covering coughs and sneezes. o We encourage not using other workers’ phones, desks, offices, work tools, equipment, etc., whenever possible. o We are maintaining regular housekeeping practices including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the work environment. o We are allowing no more than ten people on the shop floor at one time including employees. We are so very thankful for each customer who has stood outside our doors waiting their turn to shop. Your efforts to help prevent the spread of this virus and to keep yourself and others safe is greatly appreciated. o We are maintaining six feet of separation of individuals while shopping, We understand that family groups such as couples or families with children, for example, may need to be closer than six feet. We ask that whenever possible, one family member shops at a time. We at The Shop pray peace, safety, health and blessing over you and your family. Thank you for your understanding and help in these matters, Beth, Jenny, Rebekah, Carsten, and Danette.
